Upgrade Home Improvement Surpasses $2 Billion in Loans Originated

San FranciscoAugust 21, 2025
Home Improvement

We are proud to announce that we have surpassed $2 billion in home improvement loan originations! The milestone follows closely on the heels of the $1 billion mark reached late last year, highlighting the continued demand from homeowners and contractors for flexible, fast, and transparent financing options.

Upgrade’s Home Improvement product covers a wide variety of projects—windows being the most popular, followed by roofing, kitchen remodels, bathroom upgrades, HVAC systems, and more. The entire process is powered by a seamless digital experience, with most credit decisions made in under a minute.

“Our goal has always been to help homeowners invest in their homes while empowering contractors to grow their businesses,” said Chris Forshay, President of Upgrade Home Improvement. “This $2 billion milestone reflects the trust we’ve earned and the lasting value we’re delivering—especially through impactful upgrades that stand out in a home listing and help drive stronger resale value.”

Launched in 2022, Upgrade Home Improvement provides contractors with powerful tools to close more sales while offering their customers straightforward monthly-payment financing. Upgrade’s paperless onboarding, dedicated support, and strong partner network have driven rapid adoption and expansion across all 50 states.

To date, Upgrade has funded over 125,000 home improvement projects and continues to innovate through new product features and expanded partnerships—helping serve more customers and create greater opportunities across the remodeling and home services industries.
