When will I see my Refer a Friend bonus in my account?
FFor Upgrade customers who have referred a friend or were referred by a friend as part of our Refer a Friend Program, your referral or welcome bonus will post within 30 days after the date that you meet the bonus conditions.
If you have a Rewards Checking Preferred account, your referral or welcome bonus will be applied to your Rewards Checking Preferred Account as a one-time payout credit. If you do not have a Rewards Checking Preferred account, your bonus will be applied as a one-time credit to your most recently opened Upgrade Card account against which you have made a charge.
If you do not have any of these accounts, or if your bonus is related to a personal loan, your referral or welcome bonus will be applied to the external bank account used for autopay payments.
All of your accounts through Upgrade must be in good standing to receive a bonus.
